Jakki entered the mental health and substance abuse field in 2015 and gained most of her clinical experience through the treatment of substance abuse and co-occurring disorders in detox, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment settings. She earned a Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University in 2018 and is a licensed social worker in New Jersey. Jakki believes in empowering her clients on their recovery journey by equipping them with the tools necessary to be the best versions of themselves. She has an eclectic approach and utilizes a variety of treatment modalities including motivational interviewing, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, expressive arts, Gestalt therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.
