Jessica earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2019 from Edinboro University. She is currently working towards her goal of becoming a licensed social worker. Jessica has experience working in a treatment center as a detox counselor. This gave her insight to the disease of addiction along with co-occurring mental health disorders. Jessica believes all clients are capable of positive change and recovery through advocacy. When running groups, Jessica uses SMART recovery principles along with her knowledge of 12 step-based programs. In addition, Jessica uses CBT and DBT intervention skills to help educate clients in a group therapy setting.
