Medical Detox
Our drug and alcohol detox program is safe, comfortable and effective. On average, detox can take 5-14 days depending on the type of substance and the severity of use. Patients will be placed in a quiet environment with minimal distraction to ease anxiety and withdrawal symptoms, where medical care and nursing oversight is provided 24/7. Each patient is treated with the utmost care and compassion throughout the substance detox phase.
Residential Treatment
Residential substance use treatment is the highest level of care offered at Pinelands, where the length of stay is clinically driven, and depends on each individual. On average our residential programs run from 15 to 30 days, where a typical day includes group and individual therapy sessions, educational sessions on the topics of relapse prevention, nutrition and the disease of addiction. Daily 12-step meetings are also held on-site.
Amenities
Our residential rehab facility is situated on 40 lush acres, evoking a warm, lodge-like feel that is truly unique. Chef-prepared gourmet meals are offered daily with ample options. Self-serve snacks and beverages are also available throughout the day. Our community rooms offer indoor activities such as TV watching, video gaming, music, ping pong, darts, art projects and more during free time. Our vast grounds provide abundant space for basketball, tennis and volleyball courts, along with a yoga studio.
Family Program
Our family therapy program consists of involving the family unit in the recovery process. Family members and the patient sit down with a therapist on a routine basis and discuss how substance use disorder has affected their daily life and their relationship with loved ones. The program also works on establishing healthy boundaries and teaching patients and their family members the difference between support and enabling.
Continuing Care
Pinelands offers an alumni support program where individuals can come together twice per month for special community outings. Each individual connects with an alumnus point of contact after discharge. The case manager works to develop an aftercare plan and the alumni coordinator keeps in contact post discharge. Alumni are also encouraged to participate in recovery coaching for other peers who are also on the road to recovery.
