Sarah is a primary therapist at Pinelands Recovery Center of Medford. She is a holistic, trauma-informed counselor who has worked in various treatment settings and is steeped in compassion-based theoretical models. Sarah is a licensed associate counselor (LAC) and a licensed associate marriage and family therapist (LAMFT). She has a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. She is passionate about helping people embody their authentic selves and discover the healing capacity of relationships on the recovery journey. Sarah is trained in internal family systems therapy, an evidence-based therapy model that helps people explore their inner experience with compassion, as well as the Gottman Method, integrative somatic trauma therapy and somatic attachment therapy. She brings these models and her background as a yoga teacher to the therapeutic relationship, which she upholds with presence, curiosity, and respect for her patients’ histories and potential for change.
